Introduction
and Welcome
Welcome to the website of Methodism in Durham and the Deerness
Valley. Our circuit is at the most northerly part of the Darlington
District and worships in 15 communities in and around Durham. Durham
is well known for its historic Cathedral it also has a strong non-conformist
tradition.
Feel free to browse our site and contact us if you have any questions
about the Christian faith, we are always happy to talk about God and
all that He has to offer. If you should ever travel to the North East
of England, why not come and worship with us?
We
look forward to meeting or hearing from you.

Circuit Review 2011/12
As part of the circuit review process churches are asked to consult
their members, friends and ecumenical partners about their views for
the future direction of God's work in their area. Ministers and Stewards
will be planning the best ways of doing this in each church. In this
way we hope that everyone can have a chance to take part in planning
for the future. Members of the review team will be visiting churches
over the next few months to meet with the appropriate groups in each
church to discuss the questions on the survey/questionnaire.The stewards
will then complete and return the questionnaire
by post or email to Sue Smith. Circuit
