Sacriston village is situated three miles north of Durham City. The photo
shows a computer image of the new church which has now been built on the
original site of the Methodist Church. (A photo will appear soon) The new
church is shared with our Anglican friends at St Peters, and together we
celebrated the opening service on Palm Sunday 2006.
The members and friends of Sacriston Methodist Church have always been
very much part of this community, with a mission to share their faith in
Jesus Christ and show his love for others. Our new church building is more
easily maintained and more suitable for worship and outreach in the 21st.
Century and we hope to continue to serve the people of the community.
We meet for worship on Sundays – at 11am and 5.30pm.
An Emmaus Group meets at 6.30pm. on the first
Monday of the month in the home Margaret Wadge, 45 Findon Hill, Sacriston.
Wesley Close DH7 6JG
The Church is situated on the B6532, towards the northern end of the village.
