God loves it when young people get together to worship Him, but also when they have fun together. So…we aim to provide a setting for both fun and fellowship. As well as the youth work at individual churches, as a bigger Circuit group there are several events:

YPF: 7pm-8.30 each week except the first Sunday which is YPF Worship (see below). We meet together in North Road Chapel where we look at aspects of the Christian faith, explore issues relevant to life today, have fun and fellowship. Our programme throughout the term includes lots of different things - bowling and ice-skating are favourite activities as are going to the cinema. We have fun and welcome anyone from Year 6 to Year 13.

YPF Worship: 7pm-8.30pm on the first Sunday of every month @ North Road Methodist Church for ages 11+. Wicked games, a short time of cool worship and scrummy food…..you'd be mad not to be there!

Youth weekends: These are a great opportunity to make new friends, torment the leaders and most importantly to discover more of God and His relevance in our lives. In October this year we went to Rydal in the Lake District. This is the first time at this venue as, after several fun years in Alnmouth, the Youth Hostel we used has closed. Another first in March - we hope to go to London for a weekend, sleeping on a church floor and visiting some of the sights. If you want to know more about either event - get in touch!

Sleepovers:This event is for 5-11 year olds and this year it will be in June at Langley Park Chapel. We meet up on the Friday evening and sleep on the floor of our chosen chapel spending Saturday together then going home mid afternoon. During our time together we have loads of fun based around an aspect of God's love and ending with a time of worship where we invite parents and friends to come and see what we've been up to. We are preparing for Sleepover 8 I think ....... more details will be available soon.
